CSAA - Exam Pattern and Duration

The CSAA study covers 48 Shariah Standards and 4 Governance Standards. The Exam duration is 3 hours based on multiple choice questions consisting of 100 questions.

CSAA is a globally recognized and one of the most prestigious qualifications awarded by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).
 
CSAA designed to equip candidates with the requisite technical understanding and professional skills on Shari'ah compliance and review processes for the international Islamic banking and finance industry. The Program aims to familiarize candidates with roles and functions in Islamic financial institutions, to know the mechanics which ensure Shariah compliance in accordance with Scholar's rulings, and to understand the technical review used to determine Shariah compliance.

Mufti Fahad Ahmed Qureshi is well-known Islamic Finance and Crypto-Advisor, providing services across the globe. He’s working as a Faculty Member for Center for Islamic Economics (CIE) Pakistan, Senior Research Manager for International Institute of Future Research (IIFR) Australia, Head of Shariah Compliance for AH-SCS USA. He has also served as Chairman Shariah Supervisory Board for Global Halal Food Council (GHFC) USA and (KFFI) Australia, Al Ithmaar Bank, Bahrain, IFANCA USA, Muslim Chamber of Commerce USA.
 
He is an author of more than 250 Research Articles, 13 books, and a member of the Editorial Boards of several Peer-Reviewed Research Journals. He was the Shariah Advisor of the Team who constructed the first-ever Canadian Government SUKUK (CDN-SUKUK). He developed Shariah Compliant Framework for Hospitality Industry for the South American States in collaboration with the Muslim Chamber of Commerce, USA.

Mufti Rafey Ashraf Usmani is an eminent Shariah Scholar. He has strong academic background in Islamic Studies, Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Economics. He completed his religious qualifications including Takhassus-fi-Iftaa & Shahdat-ul-Aalimiyah from Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi.
 
Mr. Rafey has done his MS Islamic Banking and Finance from University of Management and Technology Lahore (UMT). He is visiting faculty member at different academic institutions including Jamia Ashrafiya Lahore, Jamia Usmania Lahore, Jamia Mahad ul Tirmidi Lahore, Minhaj University Lahore and University of Management and Technology Lahore, Islamic University Bahawalpur & IBA CIEF Karachi.
 
He has been a part of Islamic Financial Industry since 2014 and in a very short span of time, he has become a Shariah Board Member of a Semi Govt Bank of the largest province of Pakistan and become a member of the top 50 SBP registered Shariah Economist of Pakistan.
 
He has conducted several Trainings and awareness session on Islamic Banking and Finance, delivered several lectures at different forums and has written about more than three thousand Fatawas on different Islamic topics including Islamic Finance and family law.
